It's kind of bittersweet, since it's the last book in the series, but the final Cassie Coburn book is coming out in February and I'm both super excited and a bit sad. I've read a lot of Samantha Silver's other books but the Cassie books have been my fav. series of hers for years and I'm a little blue about it ending even as I'm desperate to know how it'll end.

My long-postponed trip to Japan!!

didn't want to do hanami season but we're doin hanami season, summer's too hot and I don't want to wait another year.

tourists + jacked up prices on hotels and other amenities. fortunately, most of our hotels are already paid at ridiculously low prices thanks to the weak yen.

Suikoden remaster, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes... I want to get excited for more games, but there are way too many in my backlog. I guess we can add Xenoblade 3 DLC to the list too, whatever it might turn out to be.

The same thing I look forward to 358 days a year, the one bright spot in my life: my annual beach vacation in July.

Frankly, my first thought was "nothing" which is just depressing. Honestly I am looking forward to a few things I want to create but unless I start working they are not happening.
My second thought was Tsurune and hopefully it'll inspire me to get back to anime.

A pay raise. Will be getting one in the new year, though not sure how much.

Various 2023 MCU movies. Ahsoka and anything else Star Wars coming out in 2023.

Return of 911: Lone Star.

Final season of Picard.

Return of Fantasy Island. Season 1 was amazing, so excited for season 2.

The Barbie Movie! Saw that trailer and I love it.

The Dungeons and Dragons movie! They've got the spirit.

The Dune Sequel! Are you ready for knife fights and stillsuits? I'm ready for knife fights and stillsuits!

And more personally, I'm considering a trip to Vegas to see the Meow Wolf exhibit there. Santa Fe and Denver were both super cool and I'm interested in completing the triangle before it becomes a square.

Hoping to have better luck with job hunting or at least look into courses now that restrictions have eased up (I would like to find courses where I can go to to learn instead of online - the past three years I've just been so useless at doing online courses)

Also wanting to work on my social anxiety by going out more. Pre-covid I use to cancel or refuse to go out, so I want to work on going out and trying harder to regain my social skills without feeling like I need to leave the country whenever I mess up.

Fandom wise, the Netflix live action One Piece, or at least new information on it.

I'm surprisingly optimistic about it (given its a live action anime adaptation) and endlessly curious how they're doing the devil fruit powers! Of course, getting a sneak peak at of how they are doing DF powers might result in a crash and burn if my hopes for the series, lol.
