They'd find a way to see themselves as the good guys or victims of the story. When I found the Hitler episode of The Twilight Zone on YouTube, half the comments were from right-wingers talking about how scary it was because it predicted the present day... with Hitler as a metaphor for social justice advocates, BLM, antifa, pro-immigration, pro-vaccines, and mask-wearers!
