no i get yelling at the screen because he needs to clean up his marking or scan a bit. but it's the "i'm sorry this 5 star sudoku none of the testers understood took an hour and a half" that's making me itch, because the comments fucking love them. i've never seen anyone complain. i'm usually astounded when he finds the break-in at all for these.

i like marks cryptic crossword and wordle in a minute a bit better.

...and i would read that fic.

I figure it's A) he realizes that most people don't have the time to sit and watch a 1h 30m+ sudoku video from start to finish so it forces a lot of viewers break it up into multiple sessions, or B) he solves them live and records them, so he doesn't know how long it'll take until it's over so he's apologizing for how long it might get on the way. Most of the apologizing about length I can remember is "sorry the video is so long" not "I'm stupid for taking so long"

That's the feeling I get anyway

I think it's just the insta gimmick, but he also plays on hard mode (i.e. no repeats and when a letter is correct you have to put it in the same position in your next guess).
