A lot of cosplayers don't actually tag consistently so yeah, you get a lot of it even with most of the common tags blocked.

I never see cosplay because I don’t care to. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you take responsibility for your own online experiences instead of expecting other people to do it for you.

Tagging isn't "expecting other people to take responsibility for you", it's common sense. And blocking tags IS trying cultivate it yourself. If you are in a cosplay-heavy fandom, the only way to avoid it is not looking at any fandom spaces at all.

It’s common sense to tag just like it’s common sense to avoid tags you don’t like. Wanting everyone to tag everything they do instead of you just avoiding the broader tags that are actually intuitive enough to use is expecting for people to take responsibility for you. Most cosplayers tag their cosplay, and will tag the fandom. Sometimes tag “-insert fandom- cosplay” to cover their bases. That’s all they need to do, but you’re acting like that’s not good enough. Ayrt never said people shouldn’t tag, because how else were they suggesting for OP to avoid cosplay tags and take responsibility for themselves?

Which part of "they don't tag consistently" (which includes the very basic cosplay tags) is too hard for you to understand? Maybe you're lucky in your fandom but I do keep getting fully untagged cosplay so...

I got that, but there’s always going to be exceptions falling the cracks of the people who do tag accordingly, and cosplayers shouldn’t all be punished for the non-conscientious people. You’re implying otherwise. And acting like just seeing something you don’t like is so awful that you can’t deal with it. Another part of taking responsibility for yourself that ayrt was talking about is ignoring things you don’t like instead if getting pissy about it. It’s fine and understandable to get annoyed that not everyone tags properly, but making a big deal about cosplay itself takes away any high ground you would have if that’s how you would conduct yourself.

I'm not implying anything. And I'm also not acting like it's so awful I can't deal with it. That's all you interpreting shit into it I never said. YOU said "Just don't look at it" and I replied "I'd like to but people make it more difficult than it needs to be". You keep imagining some sort of cosplayer witchhunt without any reason.

No, I’m going by your actual words, where you’re throwing a fit about something you could easily ignore. We’ve already established that not everyone makes it easy to pretend things we like don’t exist by tagging properly, and that sucks. But you have no counter for “even if it slips through the cracks, just ignore it and get on with your life”, because there’s nothing more you can do. You’re still taking out your frustrations on your own lack of ability to ignore cosplay and take responsibility for yourself on cosplayers as a whole by spamming the same rude and smug comments under anyone not praising the secret completely. It’s hypocrisy that you feel like cosplayers shouldn’t be able to respond defensively to a secret mocking and denigrating their hobby for no good reason, but you and OP should be able to insult anyone for said hobby without retort. I’m not implying any kind of cosplay witch-hunt, that’s you pulling more hypocritical bullshit out if your ass. I know, and never said otherwise, that it isn’t a witch hunt. Because most people like or are okay with cosplay, and the majority of people who don’t are able to act like adults and ignore it instead of being assholes to people. There’s not enough of you petty people with chips on your shoulders and too much time on your hands to make a witch hunt.
