You did, and it’s not you using harsh language to counter harsh language that’s a problem. But you ignored the entirety of what they said, and the good points they had, in order to zero in on their harsh language. As if it invalidated anything they had to say beyond it, when it doesn’t.

I mean,it kinda does for me. Once you basically just majorly insult people, your points mean very little to me because really, if you're not able to make your point without insults you probably don't have a valid point. And I think they actually don't. They have the right to be angry about people disliking cosplay. They do not have the right to demand praise/recognition/any reaction they want from other people.
