my mom trying to convince me to start watching 1883 with her

The fact that MAGAs love the Yellowstone-verse is a big turn off period.

Oooo, I did not know that. I know very little about the universe. None of us have seen Yellowstone. She watched the first two episodes of the new Harrison Ford one, got interested, started watching the 1883 one. I wasn't really paying attention at all, except that I caught the confederate thing.

Different anon: i tried watching Yellowstone, and in the very first few minutes the show tried to make feel bad for white people who stole land from native Americans who want it back. I'm not surprised at all by the confederate thing in later episodes.
