Re: Instant media turn-offs

I don't think I could ever walk out a cinema since its too expensive and I'd rather suffer for my money's worth, but if I didn't have that ideology then I would have happily walked out during The Happytime Murders. I don't know what I was expecting but I do love puppets and it sounded promising enough - but because they needed to prove it was a puppet 'for adults', there were some of the worst awkward sex jokes slapped in there for the sake of being there. Plus the story line was a bit shit towards the end, which is a shame because I think if done right it could have pulled off something like a darker version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Its been forever since I last looked it up, but I believed that it originally had a very different storyline that suffered a fate similar to Cool World where the premise was changed in the process of making the movie (Although I did like Cool World, the original idea for that movie where the main protagonist was half human half cartoon sounded much more interesting).

Oops I misread the question.
Although I suppose I still stand by badly written unnecessary sex jokes in a movie/show that would be my instant quit. Also poop jokes that go on for too long (which I would not have thought was a frequent thing, but alas).

I'd actually like to see a Roger Rabbit type mix of live action and animation in a horror movie context if it was done right.
