Toilet humour. The occasional isolated fart or poop joke might be mildly amusing, but media that repeatedly leans into it is just annoying, uncomfortable and not funny in the slightest.

+100 It's not my thing.

Like you I can find the occasional fart-joke funny, but when it's constant... like I'm usually very YMMV about media, what others like I might not and that's fine yada yada, but I legit don't get how toilet humor is meant to be funny to anyone older than 6.

Killed what little interest I had left for the latest season of The Dragon Prince right dead, this.

Couldn’t agree more!

This! I just don't get toilet humor. I honestly wasn't a fan of Bridesmaids anyway, but man the food poisoning scene had me going, "Really? This movie? This is the movie everybody was obsessed with for like a year?" (Not trying to say everyone who loved it has bad taste; art is subjective, YMMV, etc.)

I felt the exact same way! I didn’t like the rest of it at all, but that scene really highlighted why I would never like it. And it’s one of those things where it’s completely up to taste and nobody is wrong or right for how they feel about it. But I will still never understand the hype for that movie.

AYRT - In all fairness to the writers, I definitely recall reading an article that said the food poisoning scene wasn't in the original script and the writers didn't really want it in the movie, but there was pressure for them to have it in, and they were ultimately like, yeah, okay.

Not that I would've liked the movie even without that scene; it just wasn't for me regardless. But I can better appreciate what the movie was going for as a whole once I mentally edit out the weird, OTT detour into bathroom humor.
