From what you've said, you seem to have come off okay in this interaction - a handful of people like your post and no one is actively coming after you.

What you seem to be annoyed about is that the majority isn't on your side and that no one is calling out person A for deleting threads, threatening to flounce and then backtracking.

Person A's behaviour does sound immature. But your fixation on how everyone else is reacting is also immature.

You can't control what other people do or think. Just learn what you can from this interaction and let it go. This will likely not be the first argument you have on the internet that doesn't go your way, and it's better to learn early how to handle disagreement with grace.

Yeah, I'd never put it like this unanon. I have to say that I'm salty about all my online arguments, always have been.
