haven't watched it myself because the premise is too meh for me but I heard that by the ending it's a whole flock of sewer rats operating a restaurant's kitchen?

HA, was it? I simply cannot remember. The movie was not that attention-grabbing; it was one of those 'saw so much/heard so much' about it kind, that I finally found it streaming for free just to see. Eh.

I guess for a cartoon that's so obviously not 'real', that kind of 'ew gross' horror aspect doesn't really come into it for me. Real life? HELL fucking no.

They aren't sewer rats at that point. They're clean healthy high-living rats who basically live next door and reap the benefits of running a successful business.
