I assumed so, but the anon above said that they kinda appreciate it and I'm curious if we have the same understanding of what "tumblr style tags" means!

I'm the anon above and yeah what I meant was that the tags which are like "lol character x does thus and such teehee" tell you something about what the fic is probably gonna be like in tone and style

Yeah, I like them as long as it's not too OTT. They're fun, they're breezy, they're fannish, sometimes they make me laugh, and they genuinely do a good job of helping you understand what the story's going to be like.

Also, as soon as a tag wrangler gets to it, that "lol character x gives character y a blowjob and it sucks (literally hehehe)" tag will be synned to Blowjobs - it just takes a little time.

I don't mind them in addition to the "actual" tags--which is how I feel on tumblr too. Tag "blow job" for the actual search/filter functions, and then afterward feel free to go "lmao X gives Y a BJ and it's awkwardtimes" all you want. Saves everyone some time and annoyance and still gets the vibe!
