Which fandom is this so I can get my fill, anon? One man's trash is another man's treasure!

But that really sucks, and it would be INCREDIBLY be helpful for all the interested parties and uninterested parties to have them tagged correctly so people like me can find them (and enjoy!) And people like you can avoid it (and enjoy other things!). Conversely, it sucks when I just check tags and am disappointed to find a different ship and not reader. :/

a lot of them tbh, I usually search by kinks or scenarios and only exclude fandoms I really dislike. I agree, though - not only does good proper tagging allow people to filter out, it allows people who WANT it to find it much more easily! how is there not a How To Tag Your Fic 101 that explains this simple, obvious fact?

To be fair, this is often not the people's posting fault. As someone who also goes searching, there are a bunch of tags that mean reader-insert that should be synned and aren't. Or are freeform and not canon tags? I think? Which makes them more difficult to filter for. I also think excluding the "reader" tag should also exclude anything in the relationships too because...duh. This should be the case for every relationship tag if you filter out for a particular character.
