I'm the opposite, in that I don't care for the former but am interested in the nonsexual side of the latter, and this annoys me too! It makes it so hard to browse for what I actually want to read bc my fandom is full of the first kind and I have to exclude so many tags in order to get them out of my searches.

Interesting to hear from the other side and sorry to realise you’re having similar issues. It seems like excluding tags might be even more difficult from that direction.
