I also wish that Binghe had found out and everybody came to terms with it, but I guess that's why we have fanfic?

(I've read at least one very good fic that involved Shen Jiu/Shen Yuan sharing control of Shen Qingqiu.)

Yue Qingyuan never knowing his shidi is lost actually genuinely is a tragedy, but I think it's an intentional one. That being said--it's very, very likely in this verse, SQQ got to reincarnate peacefully (I believe he died for a moment which is why SY got dumped in?) which is more than can be said about how he would have ended up if SY never got involved. And all of his loved ones had a better ending too.

Mm. Shen Yuan is certainly written as being aware that Shen Jiu just... disappearing is a tragedy.

Also, he didn't exactly choose to take the body, or the troubles that came with it, so personally I think he's square.
