I look back at the time when people thought they were only pirating "until legacy media caught up and offered what they wanted to see online," and now I think the MAFIAA conglomerates were always irredeemably sucky. Them, and their DRM crap, and their "geolocation exists so now This Content Is Not Available In Your Country" crap, and their cancellations and lobbying and lawsuits. It's all a cancer on society, and I'm glad you're not giving them money anymore.

Yeah, I feel this. I've been seriously considering a return to piracy lately. I'm not going to say it's ethically justified by what streaming services are doing, but I am going to say that they're bloody asking for it.

Canceled my Netflix in 2021 after they lost the streaming rights to Voyager/Enterprise. I'm honestly disappointed in myself for ever paying for subs. I should have just kept on pirating everything.

The only of her books that I can think of right now that would qualify would be 'Drinking Sapphire Wine' and 'Days of Grass'. I'm seriously drawing a blank on anything else she wrote that can be considered a 'back to the land' fantasy'.

I don't get it.
What do Griffith and Eren have in common? What should Griffith's story in particular teach us that could relate to Eren's plan/actions?
Like, their motivation and roles in their respective stories are completely different.
What am I missing here?
