I used to love the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful, but there is an old lady at our church who insists on loudly singing the old third verse that got yanked from the church's official hymnal, and is just an asshole about it. I pray that Jesus forgives her for her views, and forgives me for not being able to forgive her myself for ruining the hymn. Jesus, why are so many of your fans such jerks?

The more I read up on it, and the time period during which the song was written, the worse it gets.
