…though if they became starving/homeless/etc. wouldn’t that mean you’d conjure up those things for them?

AYRT--yep, which is why I said I'd just be making more work for myself, although hopefully not onerous work because I'm basically imagining I'd have one magical skill and it'd be fixing stuff by thinking about it.

I'd be selfish too and do stuff like restore my favorite clothes (I can sew but I can't work miracles and I wear my faves until they disintegrate) and shoes (cobbler shoe repair guy: "oh wow you must've had these for a decade! That'll be $200." Me: "I bought them last year for $200 and walked 2,600 miles in them.") to pristine condition. And fix my house, because nothing is up to code so even if I had the money (I don't) licensed contractors basically laugh nervously when I've called them because the only thing they're legally allowed to do is tear it down and start over.

Also I've had some awesome veterinarians but sorry guys everyone's pets have record-breaking lifespans and perfect health until dying peacefully in their sleep with Guinness World Records taking notes outside because Timmy's gerbil lived to be 60.
