Whenever people do this kind of thing with irl people; either diagnosing somebody from afar with autism/a variety of mental illness or deciding if they're gay/trans/in love with a specific person - it always screams Annie Wilkes from Misery, as being somebody's 'biggest fan' and having the confidence that you know someone who would consider you a stranger despite how you think you know enough about them to know something along the lines of their identity and inner personal thoughts.

The reason why its frowned upon to do this to a multifaceted human being as opposed to a fictional character, is that a fictional character can always be interpreted however anyone sees them because they are fictional and even with the most outlandish to reasonable interpretation - a character is still a character constructed out of imagination that can be deconstructed out of another person's imagination since everything you could need to know about a character is given its entire form in the media it exists in.

You cannot deconstruct another living person in the same manner, no matter what your qualification or personal experiences are because this person isn't your friend nor patient. So no matter how much media/interviews/looking outside their window and into their house/etc - you're only ever going to know a public persona that a celebrity presents to the public.
