I get the sense that most Arcane people are curious about League lore but could take it or leave it. My fandom friends and I are very "League? I don't know her" about the actual game.

comment!OP: Not, not toxicity, just... wildly different takes on characters because the lore is diverging. Like when a bit of random fanon overwhelms everything despite having no canon base/even contradicting canon? I know that can get so tiresome.

Yeah. Any problems with the LoL fandom started years before a TV series was in anyone's mind. Anything fans of the show say or think won't even make a single splash in the original fandom.
