Why? What did John do that was so great and Mary do that was so wrong?

Unlike John, who could have chosen to raise his boys normally and get over his wife's death, Mary lost every single person in the world that she loved in one night and was given a chance to get one of them back with no apparent consequences.

But no, I can totally see how you can judge a poor young girl for making a supposedly poor decision at the worst moment of her life.

I KNOW. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW PEOPLE WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS RUINING ~THE CANON~.

Sure, personally, I was a little *SAD* that they did certain things (that are spoilery in nature and I won't mention them), but this made is clear that things were AU. The only thing from the original time-line was... well... you know who.

I was happy we got as many easter eggs as we did -- and the movie was just awesome. Visually, thematically, everything.

I thought the penultimate episode would have made a much better ending, even though I really liked this one. It seemed like it would have fit in a different part of the series or as a special after the show was officially over. I think it had a really great point, but the schedule kind of ruined it.

It doesn't really take that much effort to follow someone who's moved - they can say you don't care enough to read across platforms just as easily as you can say they don't care enough to post across.

Sure, anyone who just up and switches without a word is being kind of douchebaggy, but I don't see any functional difference in refusing to crosspost and refusing to set up a feed.

Hahaha Spock/McCoy is also an extremely popular pairing. I know back when I went through alt.startrek.creative (omg old), most of the TOS slash was McCoy/Spock. At least... it seemed that way.

All of the old fic is archived at Trekiverse (http://www.trekiverse.org/) if you want to peruse it. Sure, it's not movie-verse, but it's the same characters.

I just disagree that someone will always use the better pokemon every single time. Sometimes you like to win with what you like. Sometimes you like try to win with the obvious underdog. Whether or not you can afford to do it doesn't mean many people won't.

A lot of people normally don't want concrit...? I think it's a matter of people saying they do to look good and or thinking they can handle it, but when they do receive it...they fly off the handle because they just want praise and don't usually get someone not kissing their ass.

I say look for people who are asking for it (like in this thread), instead of randomly hitting up people with it.

There is a huge difference between constructive criticism and flaming.

There is less of one between harsh criticism and flaming, so I'm unsurprised that someone would get upset at you over it.

Here's the thing -- people are more likely to pay attention to what's being said and take it to heart if it's not phrased in a rude, hurtful way.
