Sure, for a book published by publisher, if the custom bound version went viral and the company was persnickety they might request a cease and desist on making reproductions. But when it's just a fanfic from the internet, there's no way for the book binder to tell that the commissioner isn't the author anyway (since vanity publishing would also be part of the business of binding companies).
