You are vastly over-estimating how much international folks are cued in on the intricacies of our domestic issues. And really, why should they be? "Living under a rock", are you serious? I live abroad and nowadays the locals might be aware that black people are targeted by cops, but they don't know anything about the danger they pose to the mentally ill. Hell, people are shocked when you tell them that police in America regularly shoot dogs, like they can't even wrap their heads around how fucked that is.

I have also lived outside of the US. The US is the rest of the world's Florida. International news loves to point out that, whatever our local issues may be, at least the cops didn't pound some autistic kid's head into the ground 5 or 6 times because he clicked a pen at them. If that's not the case in the specific rock you're living under abroad, then good for you, but most of the Americas, Europe and Asia have enough awareness of how fucked up the cops are in America to know that egging on a delusional person to include our heavily armed police in their delusions is bad.
