For real, this is a fandom where you really have to curate your experience. Honestly, while I love juicy gossip, this whole thing is best left to the courts. But so-called fans, on both sides of the issue, seem to think they know everything and are going into frothing rage over it. Like, guys, c'mon. He's a mediocre actor; his situation is not worth getting so upset over.

(I have been following, cause, like I said, juicy gossip. The latest is this: Poi has been lying out of her ass and there are tapes of her being verbally, and admitting to being physically, abusive to him. Build is suing her ass, which good, she deserves it. He has admitted to dating her, and requesting money and expensive gifts. We still don't have a good timeline, but it's looking like he started dating her right around or just after casting, hence my secret.)

Also, totally agree about Bible. I was meh on the 4 Minutes project, just because Build drops me out of any romantic scene he's in (he looks like he has to go to his happy place to get through it). I'm actually kind of excited for it now, if they can find someone good to match Bible's acting ability.

I do hope Build gets back into acting once this goes through the courts, but I'm thinking BL is not for him...

I do love my gossip, but I like it best when I'm not personally invested in it and I just really like Bible's acting and I'm kind of scared they'll just scrap the 4 Minutes show completely because of this. Hopefully they'll find someone new for him.
I'm just not into Jeff/Bardcode at all, so not watching their show.
I've also already seen some of Build's fans turned on the rest of the cast for not (officially?) supporting him or something?

YIKES on a cracker. I guess she chose to do that cause she simply... had the material? (But then I can also never tell how much of "the writers hate the show/want it to fail" is made up by the fandom) I mean, I saw some text messages but wasn't sure if they were real or not but I'm also not on Twitter, where most of the "news" seem to go around (and I can almost never tell what's real or not). I just really hope that the truth comes out eventually. :/
Maybe he should eventually try some rom-coms or something.

Honestly, BL fandom sometimes scares me with how invested they are in these people. Not just the ships - which definitely get played up often so I don't *blame* anyone for shipping exactly (do wish people wouldn't tag the character ships with the actor ships and vice versa) - but also the actors. I want to shake some people on my dash and tell them that these people are almost always acting when you see them. You don't know them!
I get that some stuff is fluff for the soul. I do actually think that some of the BL fixed couples are genuinely friends (and maybe have this one fixed couple because they trust this one friend and that makes the acting easier, cause they've been upping the raunchiness in recent years) but other than that, I'll just watch the shows and enjoy the occasional photoshoot.

I lucked out in being in a discord where people can see nuance and want to actually understand the facts, so someone has been gathering all the news that can be verified. With heavy emphasis on the verified. They often come back with unverified stuff just for us to rubberneck at how crazy people are getting. Twitter is such a cesspool.

I want to shake some people on my dash and tell them that these people are almost always acting when you see them. You don't know them!

This! BOC doesn't do fanservice like the other studios, but even still ALL the actors are putting on their public persona in interviews and events.
