For me it was Regina. There were major issue with how the character was written, but the actress was amazing and the character was really hot. I stuck it out until they killed off Robin. But when I tried to rewatch recently I really don't know why I was so into the show back then because it really isn't good.

OP who commented with the Captain Hook thing.

Hard agree on them killing off Robin. That pissed me off and felt so mean-spirited. Can't Regina still have her character journey while having a boyfriend who loves her? There was a latter episode where an alternate Regina and an alternate Robin hooked up, but it's not the same.

It especially pissed me off because Robin was a great character and meanwhile Hook was a terrible, awful character who was a really bad match for Emma. But supposedly they were true love and he was her only possible real happy ending. Ugh.

I loved him being a smug villain but dropped the show like a hot potato once they started on the true love crap with them.
