I cannot STAND songs that change from first to second person pronouns (I think this is the proper term for what I'm talking about?)

Examples include Maroon 5's 'She Will Be Loved' - "Tap on my window, knock on my door, I wanna make YOU feel beautiful/SHE will be loved, SHE will be loved..." and AC/DC's 'You Shook Me All Night Long' - "SHE was a fast machine, SHE kept HER motor clean/YOU shook me all night long..."

like it happens in SO MANY SONGS and it just INFURIATES me.

SB: this is a dumb thing to care so much about and I know that

There's a song that I would totally add to my library, but he changes the format of the pronouns to avoid the implication that he's a virgin and to make his love interest a virgin. Not only does it offend me for social justice reasons, but also, it breaks the pattern!
You could - I could - you could - I could and then I could - you could, just to make it patriarchal. No! Bad song writer!
