This is not to disagree with your point, because I haven't read any books by autistic authors and would not know, but... IME, a lot of fairly neurotypical writers are also shit at character work/characterization.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.
