I mean... didn't this whole thing start when JKR liked a TERF's tweet, then the fandom was like "...huh...that's odd. Maybe she didn't realize..."

Bigots often test the waters with little things and rely on the great mass of assholes who want to post withering put downs of people they deem as "overreacting" to see how far they can push their bigotry into the mainstream. Ya really got to pay attention to that. Also, stop writing withering putdowns of marginalized groups when they are warning of those little limits testings, because that just makes you bigot adjacent yourself.

Are you speaking directly to me or just in general because I'm not sure where I wrote a withering putdown of anybody. I was just stating how I remembered the situation to be to the best of my recollection. I am not a HP fan, the movies were fine, but I'm not losing sleep over my ruined childhood icon or anything.
