If you're annoyed that the show has gotten a lot more white recently, I think your feelings are valid, but the people on the bottom don't look any more "smug" than the people on top, and the actors don't deserve contempt for doing their jobs. They are not taking roles that should rightfully go to actors of color. They're just taking roles.
