Well people in fandom ARE especially sensitive about their gay OTP getting split up for a het one, that's just a fact. So the point still stands. What did she expect, knowing the way people are in fandom? I might not have made it completely clear but the way people ITT are blowing this out of proportion is also just as much on them as it is on me.
