Same with me and Marlon Brando. He treated a fellow actor terribly during the filming of Last Tango in Paris from what I recall, but also was a major supporter of Sacheen Littlefeather and what she did. It makes me feel something, but I'm not sure what.

Classic Hollywood was a terrible time but a relatively safe place to be gay, as long as you weren’t too open about it, but I am kinda surprised to hear this about Hitchcock.

anyway, ultimately my problem with people like hitchcock isn't that they did good or bad things, it's that they prized their judgement on who should and shouldn't be harmed and their entitlement in exercising whatever power they had over the people being harmed.

it's also the bad things, but the good things are usually more evidence that they could have been ethical people and choose not to in a lot of situations.

People can obviously unfollow whenever they want at even the slightest provocation.

But I really don't think the fanartist here has done anything even remotely objectionable or wrong here. It is in fact entirely unreasonable to object to them posting an explicit m/f artwork while being an account that also posts explicit m/m art. I can't even imagine being so committed to my OTP that I would be in any way upset about someone posting art with them fucking someone else.

Maybe it was the theater I was in, but the first 20-30 minutes were dark to the point of not being able to see anything beyond the actors well. After that was fine, though.

(I went to the same theater for TROS and don't really remember Palpatine's Exegol audience being very detailed. That might have been less screen muddiness/darkness and more my brain refusing to accept the blue screen and insisting that I was looking at an empty set.)
