I remember being obsessed with Gravitation but I was never able to get into Weiß Kreuz. But I used my context clues and worked out this secret had to be about it lol

AYRT here, it is my blind spot, too. It exists but that's as far as I know. Old bishonen franchises of questionable quality are My Jam (from Green Wood to Meine Liebe era) and I love Koyasu and the art but somehow never got into it.

Christ, teenage me was obsessed with this in the early 2000s. Even if it was objectively pretty awful in a lot of ways, I have such fond memories of it and still have the manga and a couple of OSTs somewhere.

I mean, if you ever posted your endings, If you made it clear what was your work and what was the originsl fic author's, what you'd be doing is essentially writing fic of fic. It would be hilariously hypocritical and ironic if the original fic authors (or any fic fan) objected.

Aww, I had this urge to check the Weiß Kreuz section on AO3 again after several years just a few days ago!
I was always on the losing side of fandom (didn't ship a juggernaut ship) but yeah, I really loved the show back in the day even though it was bad even by the standards back then. And silly. Also I'm German and the German DVD release had a) completely unreadable subtitles b) hilariously bad translations and c)they were super expensive and two out of the ... what 5 or so DVDs had the equivalent of an M rating so we had to beg our parents to buy it for us because we weren't 18. It was hilarious. Plus the bonus of all those silly German names for fucking everything.
But I still remember it fondly and would be so, so thrilled if there was a modern remake with good animation.
