I've been "boycotting" AAA games for almost two decades now. It's always baffling to me that people who don't work as gaming journalists or streamers want to buy games at lauch when they cost a lot or even PREORDER games, especially these last few years when it's always better to wait a little bit for a patch.
Fucking hell. People never learn.
So me not buying the game doesn't have anything to do with my moral standing, either.
I'm just poor, hate the AAA game industry and have no interest in this game whatsoever.

As far as my feelings for Harry potter's franchise go, I enjoyed the story for what it was: a kid's book. I've read them all when I was 20 years old and a potterhead friend let me borrow them. Got throught them all in like two weeks. They helped me unwind during a very stressful time at my university.
The second book is my favourite! It's the best, hands down.
The ones after the goblet of fire are not very good IMHO especially because some of the sistemic issue of the magical world building begin to be very crystal clear (I ignored them at first because I hoped Hermione would bring a "revolution" in later books LOL I WISH) and the mysteries and adventures not that interesting to me, but to each their own.

So yeah, never cared too much for Harry Potter and I'm lucky, so I can just ignore all the conflicting feelings that a lot of trans people have with that franchise and JKR. It's not very easy for some of them that grow up with HP and i sympathize with them.
