It's a provocation to urge everyone to think about the broad implications of capitalism and hopefully make better choices as a society, without shaming only the individual consumer who has limited choices, either for supply or monetary constrictions, ignorance or whatever dictated from their government or broader circumstances.
Individual customers still have a choice sometimes. And when you have a choice you should think about the ethical ramifications of it.
Buying a videogame is not a necessity. You have a choice here. You can not buy the game. It's very simple.
If you know what JKR is all about and what playing and promoting the Harry Potter game can do to the trans community (even if you don't share all their struggles and pain first hand), you better be thinking about the ethical implications here.
The ultimate choice is yours, of course, but it's not morally neutral for a lot of people.
