Funny that you don't seem sick of the moral crusade happening against trans people. We're being defamed every day as "groomers" and pedophiles. There are literally hundreds of pieces of pending legislation (in the US) aiming to eliminate access to gender-affirming care, prevent trans girls from playing sports, prevent kids from ever seeing pro-trans views, and even to prohibit drag shows! Not to mention that prominent trans people who speak out against this stuff get loads of death threats and suicide baiting.

But nope, what you're bothered about is trans people asking (mostly politely, but firmly) that people who give a shit about our well-being refrain from buying a game whose creator is actively involved in taking away our ability to live our lives. (And whose other creator, BTW, the lead developer, is a open fascist.)

Suicide baiting is always wrong. I've blocked trans people on social media for it. But I've seen very little of it from trans folks compared to what's coming from the other side.

In any case, the moral stakes are NOT THE SAME. Transphobes want us, at best, to "detransition" and go back into the closet. At worst, they want us not to exist. Trans people want to live our lives and not face discrimination and violence. But somehow in your mind, it's trans people who are bad and wrong, because a few of us have stupidly said "kill yourself" to people who want us dead.

Is that the kind of person you want to be?

I'm more sick of the moral crusade against people playing the game because it happens in my circles. The moral crusade against trans people is something everyone in my circles is sick of, including myself. But it doesn't involve infighting for me. You can complain about the moral crusade against the game without needing to add a whole other section assuring everyone of your disgust for transphobia and what you're doing about it.

If you can't do the barest fucking minimum we ask because it inconveniences you, how can I trust you'll be there when your life could be in danger for standing up for us? You aren't my ally if you can't even stop praising the shitty Blood Libel TERF Game full of racism and alt-right dogwhistles that're barely dogwhistles and then get mad when we say we don't feel safe anymore around people who care more about childhood nostalgia than the little girl who got fucking murdered this past week because JKR's emboldened people with her open transphobia.
