I mean, it's not wrong though. Only biological women menstruate. They might also be self-identified men or enbies but that doesn't change the biological makeup.

Skipping the entire argument about where "woman" grammatically applies, this particular pissy fest from here was her taking offense to an article that was using the inclusive phrase "people who menstruate" which is not at all an incorrect or inappropriate thing to say.

Honestly, I think a lot of women - and especially older women - feel demeaned by words that equate menstruating and uterus-having with being women. It's not "inclusive" when the people the word actually applies to are put off by it. And it's especially not when they try to object and the response is, "be quiet, your feelings on this subject are wrong and don't matter!"
