(Anonymous) 2023-02-20 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)See, if I wanted to go read things to be indignant about them, I would, but when an author grooves hard on "traditional" womanhood, I'm not sticking around for what else they fail at. That's why I didn't find out about the rest. I'm glad people have taken the time to articulate what else is wrong with her writing, though, because she was widely read. And for what it's worth, her books seem a lot more morally repugnant to me than Harry Potter.
