i wish entertainment people wouldn't hire their spouse for stuff. even when it'll probably be fine i don't like it and only once have I thought the media wouldn't have been better if the traditional casting process was used (haunting of hill house).

even for something like kelly ripa's show where clearly she needs someone who has vowed to love or like her in order to get them to stay, i'm still irritated.
