I’ve started putting notes in all of my bookmarks so that if a fic is deleted, I can figure out what it was (all my bookmarks are private, btw). I have around 1800 bookmarks currently, and there’s been too many times when I suddenly run across “This has been deleted, sorry!” and I’m freaking out because I have no idea what it was! It’s ridiculous, I know, but at least if I know what’s gone, I can be like “oh, that’s sad” and move on. It’s the not knowing that drives me crazy.
