I am so sorry. A lot of us were fighting so hard for our human rights and we were trying to integrate oue culture into global culture and now it's all gone in a minute. And probably culturally we are not going to recover in my lifetime. Even if I have a lifetime. We see clearly puta doesn't care for human life.

Anyway. If you still learn Russian you can try finding your local Russian community (there are millions who immigrated right now) it can help greatly with learning and be beneficial.

I'm very sorry. I've met a lot of emigrated young russian people in various country and they were all bright, intelligent and full of hope for a better russian. This situation truly breaks my heart.

I will try to find the local community here! I know we have one, but I've been too shy and busy to actively seek it out.

I mean there are a lot of shitty ruasians not gonna lie I work with them, but is's like an absolutely normal thing. People are different! In different countries.

This is cool! I think they probably would be interested in speaking their language and about their experiences to other people. I know I would. Or some could be actually interested in teaching.
Good luck!

If it's any consolation, there are a lot of places in the world where the high regard people have for Russians and Russian culture doesn't depend at all on who's leading the government. Central and South America, for instance. Many of your cosplayers and crafters and musicians are first rate, and politicians can't change that. And artists ... I remember nothing but sympathy from international fandom on DeviantArt, when the Russian government decided to block the site in Russia and all the members from over there had to figure out how to route around the bullshit law before they could post again.
