(Anonymous) 2023-02-20 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)If it's any consolation, there are a lot of places in the world where the high regard people have for Russians and Russian culture doesn't depend at all on who's leading the government. Central and South America, for instance. Many of your cosplayers and crafters and musicians are first rate, and politicians can't change that. And artists ... I remember nothing but sympathy from international fandom on DeviantArt, when the Russian government decided to block the site in Russia and all the members from over there had to figure out how to route around the bullshit law before they could post again.
