Now this is probably because I haven't seen the original campaign (and I won't look anything up because I don't want spoilers), but the Vax/Keyleth relationship in the Legend of Vox Machina just doesn't work for me. It's just feels so forced. He proclaims his love out of the blue despite never giving any indication before this that he might think of her as more than a friend. And then after a season of no romantic tension between them, she randomly develops a crush on him and its treated as if she's always been in love with him and not just the last five minutes. It's a shame because the amazing Pike/Scanlan slowburn shows they can actually do a good romance.
(Also Vax has a pretty obvious mutual attraction going on with the shopkeeper guy so I don't know why he's being pushed at Keyleth so much)
