I kinda wish womenwritingmen was as big of an idea as menwritingwomen.

Not for any political reason. Just out of a spreading awareness of bad writing and stopping terrible characterization reason. Especially in slash fandom. It's so obvious and bad.

I am sure there are some guys out there who philosophically and poetically ponder upon their fragile and delicate yet manly emotions all the time, but the realistic number of those are probably equal to the number of actual women who constantly think about their own breasts bouncing boobily everywhere they go.

When my breasts are bouncing too boobily, it usually means it's time for a new bra.

DA, but ROTFL. Too true.

And along these lines, I remember learning a particular technique in violin lessons that helped with using the bow without - you know - making female players' boobs jiggle constantly. Very useful.

Heh, it's funny; two (out of three) of my fave male characters are canonically exactly the sort to "philosophically and poetically ponder upon their fragile and delicate yet manly emotions all the time."

They're honestly kind of insufferable tbh.
