He definitely has the look and arguably the voice (ehhhhhh lol arguably).

But I feel depending on his music choice (composition), his lyricism might have been lost..and while I'm more of a Leonard Cohen fan, I can't deny I'm familiar with Dylan's music because it's accessible and more widely used, and certainly the lyrics are not overshadowed by the sound (imo). In my experience, I'm only familiar with a few punk songs and it's definitely not an easily accessible genre. Alot of the time I hear the music more than the lyrics. Rec me your punk bands ppl!

I think if Dylan had been a punk he'd have been a very Minutemen type of punk fwiw
