Honestly, agree. I saw some convo on Twitter the other day about people charging $100 for simple pictures or something of the sort and while on the one hand I don't think artists should devalue themselves, on the other there are frankly some artists who don't get commissions because their artwork is straight up *not worth $100.* There are absolutely artists out there who either need to significantly lower their commission price or take a break from offering commissions and do some more practicing before trying again.

Exactly. I actually recently paid $100 for a fairly simple commission of my D&D character because I looked through the artist's portfolio before I commissioned them and said "yeah, art of this quality is absolutely worth paying $100 for."

I got back a beautiful piece of art that was well worth every penny I spent on it and I would happily commission the artist again.
