I have been in similar situations, on both ends. I'm sorry that happened OP. All I can really say is, there are often a lot of underlying reasons as to why they're behaving the way they are and no matter the reason that sucks that you were ghosted.

In terms of social media I tend to steer away from reading into why someone is publicly active or socializing with other people. If they don't want to talk to me, oh well. The energy I used when I was worried if I did something wrong or if my friend is avoiding me only hurt me. Learning to let things go and prioritize my thoughts on other things.
