I was really excited by the idea of What If until the execution was all....let's see which Avenger we can kill next in what different way! Or hey, this time, let's kill them all!

Screw that show, I'll stick to fanfiction, at least AO3 authors either check the Major Character Death or Choose Not To Warn boxes.

Fun fact: When I read the title for the Thor episode of What if...? I read it as "What if Thor was only a child?" and that was a MUCH more interesting premise IMO.

Yeah. I was not impressed with how easy it was to tell which characters the writers liked vs. which ones they hated.
