It varies by creator and it should be listed on their front page.

I’ve supported three authors and two artists on there. Most provided exclusive content that never got shared anywhere else plus early looks at upcoming stuff. One author would post stuff that was on limited exclusivity, usually 3 or 6 months depending on what it was.
Another author hosted contests and the winner got to create a character that got their own short story within their series universe. The stories would be exclusive for 2-4 weeks and then get sent out on the author’s monthly email newsletter. They’ve all been compiled into a volume of short stories and it’s wild how different the characters are from each other and the ones in the main series.

None of them still use Patreon though. Something changed on the platform about two years ago and there was exodus. Some of the ones I supported have done some Kickstarter stuff though.

An exodus? Oddly, I've found that the creators I follow have been jumping onto/reviving their Patreons.
