Guh, I cannot understand people who fight over fictional ships. It is okay to ship whatever, even if literally no one else understands it. It's fandom. Someone's choice of ship does not make them "boring", it just means that dynamic suits their preferences. I genuinely cannot understand that line of thinking.

The only way to do fandom wrong is to ruin other people's fun with fandom, IMO. Healthy and good-natured debate over the viability/interest in ships is one thing, but when it turns into personal insults, that's where I'd draw a line.

Yeah, I don't get it. I definitely wouldn't tell her she's wrong for shipping A/C, people can ship what they want...all I've really said is that I prefer A/B when the subject comes up. I've even said we should agree to disagree so her comments annoy me.
