Ship whatever you want to ship, anon.

It's no more 'boring' to always ship hero/hero pairings than it is to always ship hero/villain ones. Either way, it's one particular dynamic/trope/relationship archetype that speaks to you, so why is one more 'boring' than the other?

And honestly, what difference does it make if someone else thinks your preferred dynamic is 'boring'? It's your ship, not theirs, and it sounds like their preferred dynamic is just as boring/uncompelling to you as yours is to them.

You can't force other people to like your ships. But don't let them stop you from liking them yourself. <3

He would be an absolutely wonderful mime. I’m pleased about the acting performances we’ve gotten so far, but I’d also love to see a mime-type performance from him at some point.
