What do you do during bad weather?

I'm looking for ideas about what to do when snowed in. There will be a blizzard in my area this Tuesday.

Sleep. Sleeping is the best with ambient weather noise. I like lighting candles and taking a hot bath while listening to the storm too, assuming the heat hasn’t been knocked out. Very meditative.

First, big stock up on necessary supplies, plus some goodies to make the snowed-in time more fun. Baking/cooking experiments, lots of reading, bingewatching TV shows...

Eat lots of warm filling comfort food, watch my favorite TV shows and movies, curl up with a good book, sleep

Sleep, make good food, read, spend lots of time bundled up with blankets.

If the power goes out, PB & Js and reading with a flashlight. (After struggling to put all the cold/frozen food in coolers.)

If the power's on, movies and good books and maybe a game or puzzle.

Stay safe and warm!!

I write a lot. Or I'll get into bed and read. Or watch YouTube videos. Listen to some podcasts while I cook and/or clean. Watch TV or a movie while I eat. Take pictures and send texts to friends. Make some of my favorite baked goods, always comforting to have a warm oven on. Drink tea or hot chocolate.

Write, sort photos, maybe play with my colored pencils or watercolors

I read a lot to pass the time and audiobooks are really nice if I’m having trouble concentrating. I also play games with my pets because they always go a little crazy in extreme weather. My dogs LOVE blanket forts and it was so fun for me since I hadn’t made one in like 40 years. I also tend to snack a lot when we get stuck inside so popcorn is a must. We pop our own in either an air popper if the power is on or in a kettle on the stove if the power goes out (we have a gas range).
Just be sure to charge up a battery bank for your phone and any rechargeable lanterns, otherwise stock up on batteries if your lanterns and flashlights use them.

I work in the care sector, so during bad weather i just have to to suck it up and go to work. Say a prayer...

I pray that my street does not flood in front of our driveway and enter into our house. I pray that the power doesn't go out and that it isn't too cold. I pray that all of the bathrooms continue to work properly.
